Residential Christmas light installation Oklahoma City and Tulsa
You never get on a ladder. You never store a box of tangled lights. You never call anyone else when a section goes dark in December.
GlowWrx provides residential Christmas light installation for homes across the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metros — designed on site, installed by our own crews, maintained free through the season, taken down after New Year’s, and stored at our facility until next Christmas.
The people on your roof are year-round employees of our fence construction and landscape management companies. Ladder work on someone else’s property is their normal job, not a seasonal side gig.
Why Homeowners Stop Doing It Themselves
Nobody hires this out the first year. They hire it out after one of these.
The ladder is the real cost
A two-story roofline in November wind is how people get hurt. It is the single most common reason homeowners call us — usually after a close call, sometimes after a fall.
The whole weekend disappears
Untangling, testing, climbing, restringing the section that does not reach. Two days of your holiday season spent on a job a trained crew finishes in one.
One dark section ruins it
A strand goes out mid-December and it stays out, because nobody wants to go back up in the cold. Ours gets fixed at no charge — you just call.
It is still up in March
Takedown is the part everybody puts off. We come back on schedule after New Year’s and it is gone, then it lives at our facility instead of your garage.
What We Light on a Home
Most homes are a combination of these. During the design walk we will tell you what actually suits your property — and what would just be spending money.
Rooflines, eaves & gutters
The clean unbroken line that makes a house read as professionally done. Bulbs are cut to length so nothing doubles back or dangles at the corners.
Peaks, gables & second stories
The high work most homeowners cannot safely reach. Steep and two-story rooflines are routine for our crews — this is what they do all year.
Trees & landscape
Trunk wraps, canopy lighting, shrubs, and bed lighting. On lots with mature trees this is often what takes a display from nice to memorable.
Columns, porches & railings
Wrapped columns, lit porch rails, and entry framing — the details people see from the sidewalk and from your front door.
Wreaths & garland
Doors, windows, columns, and entryways. Sized to the actual opening rather than bought off a shelf and made to fit.
Walkways & driveways
Pathway lighting along drives, sidewalks, and entry paths — the route your guests actually walk on the way in.
One Price, Everything Included
Plenty of quotes cover the install and then bill you again for takedown, repairs, or storage. Ours does not. This is the whole thing.
On-site design consultation
We come to your home, look at the actual roofline and landscape, and design it with you standing there. No guessing from a satellite photo.
Lights, clips & timer supplied
Commercial-grade bulbs and cord cut to fit your house, plus an automatic timer set to your schedule. You are not buying anything from a store.
Professional installation
Our own trained crews. Clean lines, hidden cords, and your roof, gutters and landscape treated the way we treat them the other eleven months.
Free repairs all season
A section goes dark, a storm knocks something loose — you call, we come, no charge. The lights are ours to maintain while they are on your house.
Takedown after New Year’s
We come back on schedule and remove all of it. You are not on a ladder in January, and your house is not the one still lit in March.
Off-season storage
Your lights go back to our facility labeled to your address, ready to reinstall next season. Nothing takes up space in your garage or attic.
Same package whether you are in Edmond, Norman, Jenks or Broken Arrow — and no travel fee inside our service area.
November books out first. Call 580-448-9015 and we will tell you which dates are still open.
How It Works
You reach out
Call or request a quote and tell us your address and roughly what you have in mind. We will tell you straight whether we can get to you and when.
We walk your house with you
An in-person design consultation at your home. We measure the roofline, look at the trees and landscape, show you the options, and price it. Free, and no obligation.
We build and install it
Your lights are cut and assembled to fit your home, then installed by our crew — usually a single day for a typical house. We set the timer before we leave.
You enjoy it, we maintain it
Anything that goes out, we replace at no charge. You call, we come. It is already covered by what you paid.
We take it down and store it
After New Year’s we remove everything and take it back to our facility, labeled to your home and ready for next season.
Built for Oklahoma Homes and Oklahoma Weather
A display that looks great on installation day is easy. One that survives a December here is the actual job.
Ice storms happen
When weather takes a section down, that is exactly what the free in-season service is for. You call, we come out and put it right — no invoice, no argument.
HOA takedown dates
Plenty of additions in both metros have rules about how long lights can stay up. Tell us your date and we schedule your removal around it.
Local crews in both metros
We staff Oklahoma City and Tulsa separately, so a repair in Bixby is not waiting on a truck driving over from OKC.
Residential Christmas Light Installation Questions
Do I need to buy the lights myself?
No. We supply commercial-grade bulbs, clips, cord, and the automatic timer as part of the service, cut and fit to your specific home. We maintain them through the season and store them for you afterward, so there is nothing for you to buy and nothing for you to keep.
Will the installation damage my roof or gutters?
We attach with clips designed for shingles and gutters — no nails or screws driven into your fascia. Our crews work on rooflines, gutters and landscape year-round for our fence and landscape companies, so leaving a property the way we found it is a habit, not a promise we made up for the holidays.
Can you do a two-story or steep roof?
Yes. Steep and multi-story rooflines are routine for our crews. If there is any part of your home we genuinely cannot reach safely, we will tell you at the design walk rather than after you have paid.
What happens if a section goes out mid-season?
Call us and we come fix it at no charge. We staff crews in both the OKC and Tulsa metros, so most in-season service calls are handled within a couple of days.
When do you take the lights down?
After New Year’s, on a schedule we set with you. If your HOA has a required takedown date, tell us and we will work around it.
Where do the lights go after the season?
Back to our facility, labeled to your address and ready to reinstall next year. They do not take up space in your garage or attic, and you are not responsible for storing them.
Can I just do the trees, or just the roofline?
Yes. Plenty of homes start with the roofline only and add trees or walkways in a later season. We will price what you actually want, not force a package on you.
How far in advance should I book?
Our calendar starts filling in October and November is the busiest stretch. Booking early gets you the install date you want instead of the one that is left.
Which cities do you cover?
The Oklahoma City and Tulsa metros and surrounding communities — Edmond, Norman, Moore, Yukon, Jenks, Bixby, Owasso, Broken Arrow and many more, with no travel fee inside our standard service area. The full list is on our service areas page.
Have a Business or HOA Property Too?
Office buildings, retail centers, restaurants, apartment communities and HOA entrances are scoped in writing and scheduled around your operating hours.
